2016-17 After School Clubs & Enrichment Programs

Philosophy

After School activities at Free Horizon Montessori provide an opportunity for teachers and outside local programs and artists to offer enrichment programs that provide students with expanded opportunities for growth and personal development.  All classes incorporate the basic tenets of Montessori philosophy: the creation of a safe, respectful atmosphere where students are encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace.

After School activities operate separately from Free Horizon Montessori school, and participation in them is completely optional and at an additional cost.  In general, CLUBS are taught by FHM faculty while ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS are taught by other community members or outside programs.  All programs must meet minimum enrollment requirements, so please be sure to register early in order to ensure programs of interest are held.  Please note that pricing structures are firm, and all fees are non-refundable unless a program is canceled.  All inquiries regarding program content, registration, etc., should be directed to the Program Coordinator, Jen Levy - jemlevy@jeffcoschools.us.  Please note that group sizes are limited.

Jeffco Public Schools is committed to ensuring that all eligible students, including those with disabilities, have an equal opportunity to participate in all non-academic and extracurricular programs and activities.  If your student requires an accommodation to participate in the program(s) described below, please contact Crystal Christie, 504 Coordinator, at 303.231.9801 x237.

Clubs

Clubs provide opportunities for students with all levels of experience to come together to explore activities of interest in a fun atmosphere.  Each club produces a culmination project of some sort that showcases the skills students learned.  The nature of some clubs requires participation in consecutive sessions.  Please contact each club sponsor directly with questions.  Note that fee structures are firm, and there is not an opportunity to make up any missed sessions.

Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registrations without payment enclosed will not be processed.  Register early for best availability!
